Arthur

Juveforum's fans have finally figured out this fraud:
"Except for shielding the ball when pressed, he's god awful at pretty much everything. Can't make an accurate forward pass to save his life."

"It's weird, I'm not really a fan of the guy, but I trust him on the ball. The problem is he doesn't really offer much else beyond his ability to keep possession."

"Also he seems to be able to play 60 min max, then he just can't run."

"Everytime he runs I imagine him stop running and pull out his inhaler. He is without a doubt the player with the poorest shape on our team."

"He only plays at one tempo, like we're up 5-0 and just look to run the clock out.
Really frustrating to watch the lack of urgency (or ability) to move the ball forward from this guy."

"Asthma boy"

"Never seen a professional player with shitter stamina than him. He was on the verge of fucking heart attack at 60 minutes after sprinting ONCE, then walked around for 10 minutes in a daze."

Press resistant & recycling possession merchant.

** people uses to defend him that he is tired because he runs like crazy in the first half.
** or that he is not making forward passes because there is no attacking movement upfront

He just doesn't have attacking passes in his DNA.

Theres still hope in Arthurs Juventus topic ;-) Compare that to Rabiot ;D

Even though it sounded impossible two years ago, overal Rabiot is a better player than Arthur.

Rabiot is meh but he can play.
He played for Psg, he plays for Juve, he could be a starter in EPL teams like Everton.

Arthur is always a guy who shows potential due to his fancy touch, but never delivers anything.

In 10 years time, Rabiot will be considered as an average Uefa cup level midfielder.
Yet, Arthur will be a few tiers below that.

He will probably end at Genoa or Torino.
Can you imagine him being a starter in any European club except in a midtable Seria A club?

Spain = he can't run
Epl = lol, no comment
Germany = no comment

He can only play at Brasilian league, Rennes or Genoa.
Even Uefa cup clubs from Seria A are too huge for his body, stamina and flaws.

There is no hope for him unless he magically lands in a team that doesn't badly need some of the aspects he is not good at. Which is City probably, not many others. Teams that have very well set up paths and tactics, and don't require individual players to make the difference constantly.

He'll probably fail and, of course, you can point at his limitations and say it's his fault for not developing in other areas. I agree though, he is great at keeping the ball, making few errors with passes, moving well to get in possession. On other things, he is not developing at all. Very few teams out there actually need the things he is very good at, and almost all big teams badly need the things he is mediocre add. If you add that... he's toast unless he does something to reinvent himself, which he won't probably, because his mentality and his dedication are also suspect.

He would be awful for City and would get nowhere near their team. Doesnt provide anything they would want.

Last thing they need is a player who is overly safe, immobile and unfit.

Press resistance is one of the things they look for the most in their midfielders. Players who complete many passes, and hold off the pressure. Arthur is very good at this. They have De Bruyne who can take risks with passes.

Basically if he wasn't an idiot off the pitch he'd be a useful squad player due to the things he's good at. Paragraphs calling him completely shit or the next Xavi were always pointless.

Good, perhaps we can offload Isco to City then.
