Also, he's smoking a fucking waterpipe, let's take it down a notch, shall we?

Waterpipes are actually worse than cigarettes. It's a common misconception that the water acts as a filter. After a shisha session you have as much cotinine (metabolite of nicotine) in your blood as you would after smoking 10 cigarettes. The smoke volume equals 100 cigarettes. The water filters nothing as the smoke traverses through small bubbles whose surface tension prohibits the smoke to get in contact with the water. The only effect you get is a cooling effect on the smoke which makes it easier to inhale it. Carbonization of the tobacco coupled with the higher smoke volume makes you inhale more cancer-causing garbage than smoking a cigarette would.

It's amazing how bro science ("the water filters everything") is the common state of knowledge while in reality a shisha sessions equals smoking dozens of cigarettes.

I remember in an old Arnold S. book (joe weider), about bodybuilding when he talked about training and alkohol. He said 2 things I will never forget.

1. training consits of three elements all equally important a. in the gym give everything, b. sleep and rest in- and ex-tensive c. nutritions and food

2. Alcohol is not a moral problem for sportsman but digesting and disintegrating the alcohol stopps or hinders all other procederes in your body as the body knows this is a posion, he has to get rid of. As this depoisining has priority - muscle stay sore, ligament tight and so on... Arnold said he does not drink a beer because he knows all his hard training of the day was for NOTHING, if he drinks this one beer in the evening.

found this interesting...

from this perspective I am not a friend of -hey they are young - its their life - yolo ... all true they can party once turning 33 and become a rich guy with no football contract.

2 very good posts above from The Observer and devo901. I find it rather startling that a 23 year old man with clear stamina issues is found to be fond of the shisha is somehow not seen as a major problem here.

I get the distant impression Arthur is the forums new shiny toy. He can do no wrong. Used to be Dembele. Wind back a few months and Dembele couldn't do no wrong. He was a victim of racist Catalan media apparently. Under a good coach he would be a ballon dor top 3 apparently. People were happy we bought him instead of mbappe because he has a higher ceiling apparently. And you know how that turned out.

I'm all for backing our players but as Tackle quite rightly pointed out let's at least be consistent. Would Rakitic or Pique ( 2 men who has done far more for Barca than Arthur) be afforded the same luxury of excuses as shown to Arthur here. No chance.

Neymar has not sued the club for a second time, contrary to what El Mundo wrote yesterday. In an interview with Cadena Ser, Neymar's father stated that the denouncement was "rather a thing from the past". [via el nacional] https://t.co/qDxQ8HlvZ6

What a sad life to hook up with hookers. Supporting it is just as sad.

The proper term is escort. And it's not sad, hookers are seen has like street and dirty stereotype. But escorts/hookers/whatever are actual high class and many wealthy, celebrities, athletes, businessmen, and politicians hire them. It's the easiest way to do things without hassle or scandal...mostly because there are some incidents like with Ney, but usually escorts are professional and can't tell of them dealings.

It isn't really a proper term. It is a way to make it look like legal thing.
For countries that doesn't allow prostitution, they just put it as "escort" and say you just pay for companionship and not for anything. Which is obviously untrue, both know what they are dealing with.
