Thumbs up All Barca players ever - shown on a world map

This is an interactive map. Hover the mouse over a country to see the number of players from that country.

    https://public.tableau.com/profile/j...ersever/Sheet1

    Extra info:

If you click on a country then click "View Data" and then "Full Data", you will see all the player names from that country. I'm a beginner at this so I still don't know how to make this info easier to access. I made this 10 min guide for people who want to make such world map:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37EhOKo_yRA

Here is the player list I used:

I understand football isn't that popular in some countries but so odd that USA, India, China haven't produced big notable stars all things considered their population size etc.. and a country like Uruguay that has a 3.4 million population produces so much.

usa in particular so good at making athletic beasts.

    India busy playing cricket

Also, it's about culture. Had British introduced us to football instead of the stupid cricket, it would have been perfect

Football's popularity here is on the rise but for a lot of people they considering it a Kids-MS-HS game. I lived in the South of the United states for so long it's nothing but NFL/College American football and Basketball country down here.

But a year ago me and my dad were out driving around and I seen a dude walking down the road wearing a 2013-14 Messi Jersey. that was a very rare sight.

not enough africans there, and africa produced way too many world class players. Perhaps that joke of a continental cup being played in january is a factor.
    kilometers matter ..
