I still don't quiet understand the hype around this player maybe i haven't watched enough but is he an excellent passer? or a jack of all trades paulinho type

or do we simply want him because of hype and he is cheap?

7 goals in the last 10 games as a CM. Half of them are Golazos.
He is Schalke's ticket to CL/EL this year, a January sale seems more and more unlikely. CL grants you 30m+ just from qualifiying and he's easily carrying them at this point.

Martial just go taken off at HT against Huddersfield.

Barca need players that are more committed and hard working than he is.

He looks a bit slow to me. After Rakitic and Gomes it would be nice to have a faster midfielder. I might be wrong but I have serious doubts after so many snail type midfielders (Gomes, Rakitic, Fabregas, Arda, Rafinha...).

Goretzka is not slow at all. In fact he is quite fast. Especially for a CM.

won't be long before Martial gets pissed off at his situation imo and United were interested in Raki when he was at Sevilla, now that would be true highway robbery

I have watched much more clips of him and he for sure isn’t slow. He could be a very good player but I am still not sure if he is the right midfielder for us.
