players living off their reputations in CL, messi, pique included.

We need to get the fear back into our opponents. Put pressure on our opponents and not just sit back and wait. Camp Nou needs to be place where no opponent would ever want to come, just like Anfield.

Don't know why Roma played 3 at the back. Suicidal. Salah was a free men left tons of space from the beginning. Mane too. Roma

In cl you have to attack with speed. Our slow ass bunch of old men are finished. Next season even our league campaign will be shit. Mark my words.

When we won cl in 2015 we were a more direct attacking team.

Without proper signings and with a clueless coach, yes, we are not going to win anything and just finishing at the top 3 might be considered a success.

I don't know why some people here think they can see a winner for CL Trophy other than RM the UEFA will not allow it to happen they will lose too much money so the Trophy is RM's before this season started .

It's not irrelevant. It shows that Roma are a weak team. They're 4th in the Serie A for a reason. If you actually try to play a football game against them and play like a proper, big team, it shouldn't be so complicated to win against them.

Barca were barely the best team at home.

The better question is who did we dominate away from home in CL?

Sporting? Not really, mega lucky to get 3 points thanks to a hilarious own goal. Olympiakos, dud game, can't remember any serious chances created. Juventus? Another dud game in which we didn't dominate jack shit. Chelsea? Miracle we ended 1-1 and not with a 0-2 loss or so. Roma? Played off the park.

5 games. 2 goals, out of which one was an own goal and another a gift from the opponent.

The team had no right and no basis to get cocky coming after 4 away games in whcih they didn't even outplay Olympiakos.

Can only pray to the Gods that Bayern get a good result at home tomorrow. Saw someone post their record at the Bernabau earlier today and that was depressing reading to say the least.

I think it is irrelevant for the course of one game that lasts 90 minutes at home turf. Stranger things have happened. Also Roma hasn't conceded a single goal at home this season in CL.

It's an indictment on Barcelona that have barely had a dominant performance in the CL this season, and had Messi bail the team out on various occasions in the league.

Absolutely. I was disagreeing with the twitter post, not with your statement.

we keep repeating that here and it won't matter. we got blown off the park in the supercopa by real and that lit a fire under us that got us to a huge lead in liga till feb...when team suddenly thought it was too good and began playing lackadaisical . take paulinho for instance, in his first weeks he was a true workhorse, by feb he was strolling around off position...

then you have pique coming out saying he was trolling real players on whatsapp about liga...

team, manager included, got overconfident by feb and forgot it was hard work that got them the domestic success this season. we were lucky not to be eliminated by chelsea and when that ran out...

So true. Look at how slow we are in transition. If we get counter attack we rarely get anything out of it, because Suarez is slow, Messi ain't fast anymore etc. Dembele is one of the fastest players in the world, but Valverde didn't want to use him. Only way we could have won CL this season was, If we integrated Dembele into this team, but it didn't happen, but Valverde didn't help it either by choosing Roberto over Dembele.

All of you are overanalyzing that game in Rome. The sole reason we were eliminated is because we hugely underestimated Roma and we thought that we are already in SF. That’s it, nothing more and nothing less.

Klopp managed to destroy this Roma team with Henderson and freaking Milner playing in midfield.

Even our below-par midfielders are better than those guys.

Barca are a bunch of idiots.

Our midfield is so slow, old and disjointed. God, this fucking Barca team are such a bunch of underachievers.
