Finally. About time we got an easy draw. This draw is great in a way, cause Madrid, Bayern and Barca are going to go through, barring a HUGE upset. Expect City to make light work of Liverpool.

Potential semi final lineup of Bayern, Madrid, City and Barca. That'd be absolutely epic.

Anyway, don't want to jump the gun. Just glad we finally got the easiest opposition!

AS ROMA, YES!

Should be a free pass to the semis barring a disaster. It would be a shame to not go on and win the competition after getting such a fortunate draw in the QFs, something that almost never happens to us.

Liverpool can cause a huge upset.

Just like in seasons when Barca can't lose to teams like Juve/Chelsea/Psg but gets beaten by AM, and would be in big troubles against Sevilla for example.

Liverpool knows them from EPL.
League matches and CL KO matches are a different thing.

When Mou and Chelsea were dominating in 2005, Liverpool who was a crap in EPL knocked them out in semis.

I am not saying that Liverpool is a sure winner, but this could easily turn into a 50:50 match.
Liverpool has nothing to lose, City will have pressure on their shoulders since they are favorites and yet City has poor European experience.
Plus, Pep's teams (without Messi) are famous for losing under pressure in a CL.

Do it Liverpool

I think having the first leg at home is better in this case. We can kill off the tie in the first leg and use the second leg to rest players and conserve energy.

This draw is so easy that even I would like to see Dembele-Messi-Suarez in a lineup in the first match.
We'll survive easily even with Dembele's defending.
Roma's players are slow and won't hurt us too much even if we play too attacking.

We can rest workhorses for semis and a final :andre::paulinho:

Did anyone notice Shevchenko saying Kiev welcomes the Best Team and player in the world for the final? Also notice that he was very quick to pick our opposition?
