Yep, trophy is gone, might as well not even try...if we try they will hit on the counter and we risk humiliation.

Will watch the game, hoping for some tactical reaction from Valverde, hope we will see Semedo play and Bob from the Start.

Valverde is a weak yes man, that's why the board hired him, they know he won't act up or question their decisions. He's been here for two months and he's still trying to play the broken Lucho style 4-3-3 with no RW. This season can be written off already.

Gerard Pique is the first Barcelona player to score an
own goal in El Clasico in the 21st century (all
competitions).

He missed a sitter last classico from a Gomes cross, so now he decided to take matters into his own hands and get his name on the records :coffee:

I would already be happy with a draw today. I don't blame Valverde. He came to a team which wasn't playing like a team and relied very much on MSN. Neymar left and the squad only got weaker.

He had a full preseason to work with the squad though.

Not judging him yet either btw.

Busquets wouldn't start ahead of Casemiro, Casemiro is perfect for RM and has goal inside of him, Busquets has 2 season in the row without single goal in all competitions. Alba would warm bench for Marcelo. Messi and ter Stegen would only start from our team for Madrid right now, Suarez is on the decline and Benzema better fits their system.

You may have a point with Marcelo although I'm a huge fan of Alba.

I agree its a natural decline which im sure we all expected as nothing lasts forever. the problem for me though is how badly the board neglected the team.. there seemed to be no planning whatsoever. when Xavi left it was paramount we signed a world class proven midfielder. Dani Alves left and we just thought 'fuck it, who needs a RB'

when you rule the world fo years, you get too much self-confident, up to be superb.
It seems to be inevitable.
Even if you try not to be, you'll have arrogance and superficiality in managing the team

that is said a part of the fact that, at that level, we never know if there are some "politic" talk to balance victories between teams.
Football has got so much power in nowadays world, and who manage football are linked with those who manage the world.
It's different from other sports.......in the football, the technic aspect is secondary compairing to the social one
