What a beautiful pass-and-move goal by Villarreal. Really miss this type of play at Barça, pretty much died with the beginning of the Neymar years, and almost extinct under Valverde.

    About 7:50 into video.

(also check out the nice piece of skill in the previous attack by Sansone)

Hehe. But part of that was due to adapting to the personnel available. Xavi heading out, Neymar holding up the ball and killing rhythm, and Suarez' shitty touch.

Rubi leads SD Huesca to promotion, the first time in their history playing in La Liga as well.

I read though Rubi will be Espanyol's new manager for next season though.

    Congrats to Huesca and Rubi.

We'll have a newcomer in La Liga for the third straight season after Leganes and Girona were promoted in previous two years. The last time this happened was in mid 90s when Compostela (1994), Merida (1995) and Extremadura (1996) were promoted in consecutive seasons.

    This are also interesting facts:

Huesca is only 139th most populated city in Spain while relegated teams were all coming from the 20 most populated municipalities.

From the 32 most populated cities only 7 are confirmed to have a team in Primera next season (though Zaragoza, Valladolid or Gijon could also be promoted).
