Thats the good thing with Atletico keeping it relatively close, Barca cant afford to rest Messi and Suarez much.
Even a draw tomorrow means Barca cant quite seal it yet, they have to put out their best players every game, with CL-knockouts in between.

Only in midweek Liga or Copa games. Otherwise he started pretty much everything. Not many of them left now, in fact calendar says only 1 against Bilbao in May. If he'll rest him then only against bottom feeder clubs late in the season. In any other case Ronaldo needs goalscoring continuity at this stage of the year like fish needs water in order to be effective.

Zidane had substituited him in the 75.minute in many matches, so he gets his rest.

If Cristiano wasn't a self obsessed egotistical twat then sure he'd rest for the CL but now hes closing in on the pichichi's current leaders no doubt he'll be shooting from all angles again and demanding to play. remember hes 33 now and doesn't have long left, atleast at Madrid imo

He got too cocky by playing backheel passes. When he scored 4 goals vs Leganes ( i think ) almost all were praising him like ''OMG, THE BEST'' ''He's so good''. It's useless if he score 1251252151 goals against Leganes, Betis etc He should step up and score in big games like this too, otherwise he'll still be considered one of the best chokers, together with Higuain.

a bit of good breathing room after today...still, if we keep drawing against teams we should be able to beat, winning against the top sides might not be enough....but good result nonetheless
