A month or 10 years he is not a midfielder. Now to the question is he adding something new to this team, the answer is definitely yes but not as a midfielder.

Had he scored that header from a corner we would have been praising him. I personally don't think he was that bad. Okayish half from him.

He wasn't that bad. He's definitely more useful off the bench though. As I said, not a starter and never should be, but off the bench in difficult games, he can bring that energy and something different needed to unlock certain defences.

People saying "The entire team was bad" seem to be completely incapable of comprehending specific reasons why a player is actually bad.

Paulinho doesn't fit in our midfield and whether the entire team is in top form or not that fact will not change.

This is probably fake news.

The only problem is that it seems the whole story is fabricated. No reputable news outlet have confirmed the Neymar-Paulinho rumour.
