Forget the £40m price tag , this donkey is not worth buying at £5m. Its a disgrace and major embarrassment for the club if this flop is signed.

How will the Chinses club benefit if Brazil wins the next WC? This doesn't make sense at all! Also, The owners of the Chinese club are Evergrande Group and Alibaba Group. Like I said, they make smart investments, they don't just throw money without any purpose. Most of those investors don't care about football but they heavily invested in football clubs to get some favorable governmental contract from the government. The Chinses government is encouraging the private sector to invest in sport and football to bid for the WC.

By having a high profile player in their team. Which is what those teams have been trying to do for years and spending big to do it.

If it was all about money these folk woudnt have been getting involved and paying these insane wages and fees in the first place.

If investing in football help gets govt contracts does weakening your team to line own pocket decreases that going forward as well.

Barto will be sharing a jail with Sandro some day and some will still die on the hill that says there was nothing shady or corrupt about them.

There's really no words for this transfer.. We've spent hundreds of millions on trash the past two seasons.. The board has to go!

How is this going to weaken their team? They bought a player for 15m, now sold him for 40m, They can buy a better player in Jan with that extra money. They are comfortably winning the league and favorite to win the Asian Champion league too without Paulinho. They still have that extra foreign player they can play. Do more research before posting!

In 4-5 years we'll have to change half the team with the usual 100-120 million transfer budget. No one is going to be good enough for us and we won't sell them either since they are old or shit.

Fascinating times ahead.

I'm trying to be optimistic and see the positives, but man it's so hard to accept that they gonna spend 40m on a 29yo Chinese league player.
It's like a nightmare for Barca fans.

So after Coutinho and Dembele "signing in the next few hours" this is the first true signing we made. What a horrifying summer!

I dont watch them but read he has been their best and most high profile player. Fuck know if true or not but took it at face value.

Think you need to do the research if think they are getting as high profile a player from abroad for 20m.

Anyway are you now claiming they are investing this money back in team? Contradicts what you claimed before.

Well it's clear what will happen after Messi retires, we'll go back to pre-Cruyff era.
