I seen already some people trying to justify Paulinho's signing as the new Keita.

Trying to justify 40 million euros because he can be our new Keita?

Who the hell pays 40 million euros just to be an impact sub at best with a high risk of failure.

Not to mention, who the hell pays 40 million for a 29 year old with the intention of making him an impact sub? The fuck?

Lol at people overthinking how this could be sporting decision. "Why is our board soo dumb? What does Robert see in him? What? He is 29!"

Thes see $$$ that fucking bartomeo will pocket on this one. This is absolutely most terrible I have felt as Barcelona supporter. To the point of almost crying out of helplesness. 40 FUCKING MILLION EUROS for this shit while we are penny pinching and putting 80m for Dembele (and they ask for 100m upfront).

KYS board.

If Paulinho comes and he doesn't deliver, then all of those in charge with the transfers should be kicked out. If at least one of Dembele or Coutinho doesn't come, they should be kicked out even sooner.

I have no problem with the player. If he was signed for 15m. and for 2 seasons, with 1.5m. net wage. The condition in this transfer are a joke. That's the main problem, not that he is more physical and that he comes from China. But that he is 29 years old, is probably coming for a high wage and for more than a 3 year contract.

As a club you can make a surprise signing like that, but not for prices that are associated with a top transfer. We are signing Paulinho for only 10m. less than Bernardo Silva?

They should have already gone by now, the corruption will keep them in. We are a circus at the moment

Yes, all reports say 40m plus 5m net wage, which is 10m gross per year. 4 or 5 year contract. Imagine what those 80-90m we are splashing on this dude could do for us in the market. When we thought the crazy Arda Turan and Vermaelen transfers werent enough, we go ahead with this disaster.

He wont get 10m net.

If someone told me all this a month ago, I would straight up kill them. Neymar leaving and Paulinho arriving. For freaking 40M too. If we really needed a player of his profile, then why didn't we even try to get Tolisso?! Bunch of cocky Catalan retards.

Isn't Bakayoko a physical player? Why didn't they go for him then, if they want a physical beast in midfield? How much did he cost? And what's his age compared to Paulinho?

Same price as Paulinho. Fabinho is rumored to go for 60m. Even better than Bakayoko. Both young. Or Leon Goretzka? 12 months remaining. But we're making Paulinho one of the most expensive transfers we've made and one of the best paid in the squad. Few players are bagging 5m net in our squad. Paulinho will probably get a lot of chances to prove himself.

Been as well taking Romeu back from Soton.

He has been brilliant for them for a while now and bullies folk in the EPL which is known for physicality.

Be suprised if couldnt have got him for 40m.

Nah. He's too young. Only 25. He needs to be closer to 30 or a bit over.
