The whole thing was about how funny he predicted that event with pinpoint perfection. Not that it matters in the transfer.

As de Jong transfer has shown, all those small evidences people tried to find amounted to nothing. When the player made his choice, all the news came out in few hours and it was done. Just don't try to find circumstancial evidences anymore.

iirc most of his family, even his father in law, wanted him to move to Barca

the more teams showing interest. Bayern/Barca/Juve/PSG would be my guess, Hummels is leaving Bayern right?

He is 19 years old. I would be worried too about the bad influence there if was his family.

Look at neymar and mbappe. It cant get worse:lol:

he'll prioritise his development and ambitions over money, but will use Raiola to get the best deal possible in that regard.

basically he'll go to the club that pays Raiola the most money. the 'play time' thing was bs as expected

Yes declining Barca's offer all the way from Miami. More like Raiola declining Barca's offer cause less $$$.
This is just the same news being reported over and over again. I wont believe anything until its official even though its looking less likely that he comes here, you never know what'll happen.
and why would a player blindly listen to his agent? thats pretty weird of de Ligt if true. which is why I dont believe it.

part of me would like him to join United so we can buy him in 2-3 years time, atleast theres the option there + Raiola likes the idea of a stepping stone club. if its PSG its over

kid needs to make up his damn mind though, tiresome saga

Blaming Rioala serves as a convenient excuse for sure, but in reality it's unreasonable to expect a player to except an offer that doesn't meet his terms, particularly when rival clubs are willing and able. It's obvious Barca is his preferred destination, but given their bloated wage bill they can't give him what he wants at this point.

It's is arrogant of him to decline the same offer we made for his more talented teammate. He's after the most money, no doubt.

Frenkie was more important. There's way way way more talent at CB in the market than in DM.

If we made the same offer to him as we did with De Jong, as reported, the ball is in his court. Take it or leave it. We're pretty well covered at CB even without him.
