Guys like BBZ, havesaks, Wolfe, khaled and the new tackle guy are essential for the forum. They provide a counterbalance to the “group think” on this forum and without them it wouldn’t be worth reading.

They might not always be right, but they are right a lot of the time, they present their arguments in a reasonable and intellectual way and make many salient points.

Contrast that with the other guys who spend most of their time writing like 12 year olds and throwing around personal insults.

Yes the irrational haters want to live in an echo chamber where only their own opinion should be followed and listeners. They do not keep an open mind, narrow minded people...

It's impossible to keep the faith in a manager who makes the same mistakes over and over.

Who has caused the most humiliating defeats to the club in back to back seasons. Relying on Messi in the league.

Roma and Liverpool came about as a result of taking the same approach but expecting different results.

Anyone can look at those games and observe similarities from both. The cowardice of the manager and inability to inspire the team just to name a few things.

His project should be disbanded as soon as possible and players like Raki and Suarez should follow him out the door.

I agree about Khaled and Wolfe to an extent but the rest? Nah BBZ tries way too hard to intentionally be that counterbalance guy which leads him to come off as a troll and when he gets it wrong big time he tries to mental gymnastics his way out of by making up fantasy scenarios that don't even make any sense in the first place.

Which separates him from the likes of Khaled from BBZ, the former at least is much more realistic in his views while the latter tries his hardest to prove he is right even though the arguments aren't there for him to back him up so he has to invent stuff to prove his point.

Wouldn't be so bad if BBZ can actually admit he is wrong at times. We are all human and we all get it wrong ourselves.

I'm sure there are far more valid points, more eloquently put, in BBZ's posts than a lot of posts here which mainly consist of connecting everything to EV in a negative light, whilst finding the most varied way in insulting him. I want EV gone as much as anyone but we need to get over the fact that it looks like he is staying (for now).

Please, if this forum would be a restaurant, and every user would be a dish (be it savory or desert) BBZ would be the fruit tart. Why? Because his posts follow the same formula. Much of the same thing in different variants.

It's like the crust (base of his reasoning) filled with different fillings. The fillings are the stats and the direction he manipulates them. Add some gelatin to keep the filling from falling apart and the tart is complete.

Wolfe would be like an overcooked New York Steak. Almost great, but the chef forgot it in the oven too much, and it's just not as good as it should be.

Khaled is one of the more serious posters. One of the best imo, probably the best conservative non-emotional poster around here. For this reason, he is a Pasta Ravioli. Difficult to get right, but it's a top dish. Not too fancy, but elegant and pleasant.

    Spot on.

On why Valverde is suited for Barca :

-not playing naive in CL away and getting thrashed everytime (roma was dembele fault for missing empty net). ~ Enjoy your life.

Allegri or Sarri for me. This side is aging and needs a pragmatic manager to get the best out of the seniors remaining years. They would be a vast improvement on Shitverde.

I actually think Valencia will beat us. We have some injuries plus our mental state isn't that good. People are assuming a double but it won't happen. I think a defeat will give the board food for thought.

Lmao at BBZ presenting his arguments in an intelectual way.

Changing arguments from day to day to fit his usually shity narrative is in no way intelectual.

Hamzah is just another mindless, bullshit peddling Valverde backer. He was constantly praising Rakitic as the best thing since sliced bread before our return leg against Pool. Constantly saying that he is a such needed workhorse with good passing skills(absolutely laughable), which gives us defensive solidity. However, as soon as we got shat on in the return leg, with rakitic offering nothing, but absolutely nothing of what Hamzah foolishly preached, he then changed the tape and said that Valverde is only partially at fault because he doesn't have good players to work with, completely backtracking on his claim of the "great workhorse" Rakitic along the way.

Furthermore, he backed Valverde's use of Vidal and Rakitic time and time again because that's the way you win the CL, with this kind of workhorses as opposed to physically weaker players but more technical and more press resistant. "The times of Xavi and Iniesta are long gone, the times of great workhorses like Rakitic is the way to go". Suffice to say we were absolutely embarrassed by Liverpool's midfield while our "workhorses" were trampled all over. Laughable poster really.

Multiple posters like @serghei, @xXKonan, @henias, @Cule4life, @Potroh, @FCBfan22, @MTL_Barca and many others give compeling and well thought out arguments about why Valverde has failed to deliver but the great @Hamzah thinks that "The Great Leader's" opponents only sling unfair insults towards everybody.

The gal of this poster spreading bullshit when he himself has changed his narrative in 2 fucking hours as soon as he was proved wrong. Incredible.

Valverde was a small player and today a small coach.
In 1988, Ernesto Valverde and a player from Espanyol, after being transferred to FC Barcelona under the direction of Johan Cruijff. Valverde spends two seasons at Barça, he never succeeded
because of its very low level. He joined Athletic Bilbao under the direction of Javier Clemente. He remained there between 1990 and 1996 and scored 50 goals in 188 matches. Valverde ends his playing career at RCD Mallorca.

He played a match with the Spanish team on October 10, 1990 against Iceland.

Once again your post has personal insults, thank you for proving my point.

As for the "substance" of your post, it falls apart completely in the third sentence where you call me a "Valverde backer". I'm a "Valverde backer" who wanted Barca to move on from him in the summer, even before the first leg of the Liverpool game.

Huh? Guys like Havesaks and Tackle, even Horatio and Ursegor are the epitome of your last paragraph.

So does it mean only those who doesn't agree with Valverde throw personal insults? Way to cherrypick a few bad users to make us look bad and then the users you mentioned are not even reasonable most of the time. And I could have mentioned a couple more who has gone missing.

One thing about Valverde supporters: they have a tendency to be sanctimonious just to "win over arguments" easily, because they have nothing else to add really. Things like "you're fake Barca fan" etc.

So much for this greater good or "counterbalance" lol. I agree that having some discussion is great, but to say some of us are 12 year olds, especially with the huge influx of Valverde troll accounts is just laughable, who insults the forum all day especially even before the Liverpool game where most of them said a treble is going to "shut up the haters".

And you call that mentality of a champion "Was great in the first leg, not so much away" is just another way of saying "it is what it is".

Thats not the mentality that wins the CL. These guys just going "our season was so magnificent and extraordinary" and downplay the back to back humiliation in CL as just a loss, a little accident, don't have it in them any longer. They don't seem to care at all. "It is what it is" words of a true fighter
