Yep. Thing is that when you set up the way we did, defending and playing on the counters, much like vs Betis, you have to be defensively strong. And we aren't. Today Valverde should learn that our style is never the same one as Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid never goes 2-4 from 2-0 vs a team like Villareal.
We had poor ball circulation. This is something that needs to be improved.

tbh the rotations were probably not too bad - except may be he should have played Pique instead of Lenglet considering they have not played together at all and both are lefties. Also, he should talk more to his players, too many give aways and can't believe the Roma game hasn't taught any lesson to the lads! And do not freaking play Coutinho in attack!! Not only was Coutinho not of much use (except of course for the goal) but the second goal was as a direct result of him losing the ball! The guy tries to come into the mid field to get involved in the game but the retardo still plays him only in the attack!

Imo, these types of games happen to any team. The important thing is for us to be prepared so it doesn't happen at the worst times. City lost at home to Crystal Palace 2-3, in much the same fashion as we almost lost today. Defensive errors, lack of focus, other team trying harder, and opposition players being in a great day.
This happening once every 10 games in a league campaign in a crowded period ain't that much of a big deal. This happening in a CL game where everyone should be at 100% focused and sharp is a big big problem and is simply not acceptable.
