Ernesto Valverde - V1

For the first game in the preseason, first half was intense football. No joke.

Yes, this was pure fun to watch. Players knew that they will just play one half so they didn't have to conserve their energy though.

Valverde on our pressing yesterday: It’s something we have to manage throughout the season. To be honest, [we have] not worked on it a lot because we've not had a lot of time. The idea of pressing or not pressing depends on our strength in that moment, above all if we can do it together because everyone has to compromise to do it and it’s something we will be training for.

Very good video, I love seeing these type of videos that show the tactical changes that the team is undergoing with Valvarde compared to the way we played under Lucho.

Needless to say, keep up those rumors and tactical videos you post man, you're my favorite member for the stuff you post 😂

It certainly felt that our midfield played more compact and moved a lot more around each other to create lanes/triangles than the stretched out and static Lucho's ''hexagon'' that most of the time felt like handball team. Even in second half with youngsters it worked quite good at times. Even without new midfield signings it should already be improvement if he can keep that sort of play style consistent.

Well it was an emphatic failure

What's you point? No manager is going to win everything. Allegri has dominated his domestic league for 3 years and made two CL finals in that time.

No matter how you look it at, he's been an very successful in every season he's been at Juventus.

There's absolutely no shame for losing against us and Real Madrid who made their best season for the past 50 years.

Allegri is one of the best coahces in the world nonetheless.
