Which is true. Everytime we won la liga we had the best defence. Real Madrid outscored us even when Pep was our coach but they have always conceded more goals.

Which also failed on occasion and the majority of CL winners in recent years have been the best counter attacking teams going.

Ancelotti-esque except of a lower level. Ancellotti at least is a master manager, having won the CL 3 times. Valverde can look like Mourinho and Ancelotti style-wise (and that's a bit of a problem for a club with a big aesthetic component like Barca), but he can be compared with the best pragmatic managers out there when he'll win big with this type of football.

Then Valverde must stop telling porkies that Barcelona try to dominate by high pressing and winning the ball back.
But it can be done. I’d say, in terms of talent, that Napoli is about on par with us and they play wonderful ball. No need for Iniesta, Xavi and Messi just a manager that has sold his players on the idea of a specific brand of soccer and drilling it into their thick heads in training.

Dropped in on RW to cover defensively a few times but that heat map shows how little time he spent there compared to how much a RW would.
