Ernesto Valverde - V1

They all prefer to be comfortable. Barto wants a puppet that doesnt make trouble and obbeys. Players prefer the idiot who keeps them on their 18 million a year salary and guarenteed playing time 55 matches a year.
Valverde is a coward who prefers keeping his head down, playing his cards right not to upset anyone and ride out his high wage as well. A honourless weasel who doesnt care about barca.

At this point im feeling we should shift our blame from this clown to the board and senior players who enable this.

Yea, predictable.

There's no way this board sacks Valverde while we're winning domestic doubles. No fucking way. It takes a vision to do that, and the belief you have the answers about which manager is right for Barcelona. This board has neither.

Get ready for a new year with Ernesto. I smell a much harder season in La Liga next year, with a real title fight with Madrid. Let's see what Ernesto can do when he has a top rival to deal with.

Maybe when they say things go in cycles they don't refer to players only, but also managers. You can't expect to bump into Guardiola-level geniuses constantly. There's also a high chance you'd bump into some Ernies. Statistically, there's a good chance the next manager might be even worse than Valverde considering who makes the choice.

Just be grateful we're still winning big titles all things considered, unlike some other huge clubs who have won diddly shit in the last 5 years or more.

Be that as it may you can't not be mad when you see posters defending Valverde and even throwing dirt on Pep in their lame attempt to do that. Coping with Valverde's limitations is totally different than claiming there aren't any, or they're anything less than major.

What we can do at least, and it's basically our best bet, is to limit the damage Ernesto can do while choosing his players. Selling Rakitic and forcing De Jong is a great start. If there is no Rakitic, Ernie will have to make the best call by default.

I was wrong in thinking Ernie needs a large squad. Nope. He needs a slim squad so he can't fuck up with his starting 11 like he usually does. We need to shape our squad in such a way that Arthur and De Jong start 80% of the games. Because if Ernie has the option to not play them, he'd use Busi, Rakitic, Vidal in the biggest games. There's no doubt about that. That's just the manager he is.

I wonder how the Catalan/Spanish fans view this situation. Internationally it seems we are 95% in agreement that we all want this idiot gone.

Look at the bright side.

Bottle job in the QF first year.

Bottle job in the SF 2nd year.

If he stays 2 more seasons:

Bottle job in the final Milan style

And in the last year we'll win the Cup, but break it Ramos style.
