Vitolo is a good player and if Barca are in for wide players could do worse. Would rather go for someone younger though.

Paying 40M for him would be worse than Arda transfer imo. Arda was actually a well established player who had good experience at a top club and was considered one of the best in Atleti squad. At 27 this guy will not get better and we should look at younger players like you said.

He is a good player, but is not starter quality, and that is exactly what we need to find. He's not in the same class with Coutinho/Silva.

According to Marca Vitolo is a top priority signing for Simeone if Atletico's transfer ban will be lifted.

Got transfer banned but still able to sign players. Why is our board so incompetent? But if they paid the release clause it seems like a total waste of money.
