He is on the right track. Thats the only important thing. Strong defense most of the time and improving in the offense.

You're welcome
You can tell he's gained more confidence or he was instructed to play more offensively. Very few backpasses.

Well done Nelsinho.

His dribbling was ridiculous at times last night. He contributed heavily for that beauty that was our first goal.

True but he needs to do it more often ffs. He has the burst of speed and acceleration that allows him to enter pockets of space whenever the other teams don't have a very compact shape.

Vs Sevilla, he saw the space, beat a player 1 vs 1 on pace, then found more space, played a decent ball to Suarez and it led to a goal. This is not something Roberto can do, so it's surely a thing he has over Roberto. The ability to beat a player on pace even on shorter distances. He is not only a fast runner, but also has pretty quick movements which allow him to be a very good dribbler.

Should absolutely stay as a starter now that he's building momentum. I think he was one of the best players on the pitch vs Valencia and Sevilla, and those aren't easy opponents.

You know it's quite funny how he wasn't known for his defensive output at Benfica, with some fans even admitting he had a lot to work to do in that regard but here his strongest asset is his defensive capabilities.

I'd say that he's improved a lot in that regard since he came here which is highly important considering how weak the right side is defensively and how open it is.
