Semedo hasn't been played consistently. Yes offensive wise he isn't convincing.

However why do we need both full backs bombing forward and leaving a snail Busquets and two pathetic CBS exposed?

Abidal wasn't great offensive wise and Pep used him at cb and Lb. If Setien wants to continue his three at the back Semedo is a much better fit.

Had a couple brain farts in the last quarter of the match but there is no way you can convince me that Bob is better than this guy.

His speed alone makes up for his other limitations.

There is nothing that suggests Semedo is a better defender than Roberto. Play Roberto in yesterday's game and he would have performed just as good since it was in the Camp Nou against weak opposition.
