This is what happens when you don't give a player game time and the suddenly throw him in. Honestly Valverde can be such a cunt.
Good game by Semedo and he is definitely a better rb then Roberto.

Yeah, was his first proper game since the 4th Feb. He also tried harder to impress EV. Bad luck. Hope he isn't out for too long.
The Semedo-Dembele flank must be the fastest in the World.

I really liked him today. In the first half, he was the best in the back 4 defensively, while also contributing in offense. In the 2nd half took more risks as Girona weren't able to put us under pressure anymore, and linked up with Dembele high up the pitch. I like how aggressive he is. Uses his body well, and ends up winning quite a few physical duels. Makes him very hard to beat. He gets away with his aggressiveness without picking up yellows which is also great. Underrated player imo. Has all the tools to be a starter for many years for us. It's up to him really.

Well good thing there is the international break in march so that he can recover better and there are some days off between the games in march so we should be ok.

Yes, it's that fool Valverde fault. Players need game time. If they are suddenly called upon and that to play the entire game there's a good chance he'll get injured.
