But did this prove that he's a better RB and no need to buy? Until he show consistency, Barca need to find a better one

2 assist entire career at Barca while injury Roberto has 5 halfway of the season.

His ability is amplified 5x when he plays with Dembele on the flank.

It's a great combination and pathetic that our manager doesn't use it often because it isn't his first choice.

That was evident from the very beginning. Remember that game against Juventus in September 2017, 1 month into his and Dembélé's careers at the club?

Semedo is not an offensive force by himself to say it mildly but his limits offensively are less exposed when the opposition midfielders and defenders have another threat (Dembélé) to look after and he has another outlet to combine with in Dembélé. This gives him more room to roam in and this way his quickness is not wasted which it usually is when his only partner nearby ahead of him is Rakitic.

That is why I cannot phantom why Cobardeverde has not yet created a lasting partnership between Semedo and Dembélé on that right side that is NON-EXISTENT whenever they are not playing. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Imagine that right side with Alba burning up and down the entire left flank.

Could it perhaps be better to have Dembele on the RW and Suarez and Messi doing what they usually do with Messi playing as a RF and Suarez as LF? Alba is capable of attacking through the left flank by himself, especially with more space opened up for him. You could have Vidal as LCM to provide some steel and mobility defensively to cover up for it.

This this this. They have great chemistry, but Valverde seems to miss this.
