Great numbers for Mbappé but he was very wasteful today despite the two goals. His overall play was good today as a number 9 like last game. He can be involved in the game, in the actions, in the build up. Things that Cavani can't do. He really has to work on his finishing skills.
I would chose Neymar over Mbappé without thinking though. Neymar is the better player, more influencial on the overall game of PSG. Off the field, Neymar is also much more important in regard of merchandising, brand power, sponsorship.
Maybe in few years, Mbappé will be his equal or better but not now.
I want Roma/Porto.
We have so many yellow cards from away leg at Manchester, we will likely have a lot of missing players in quarterfinals. Our depth is bad so we will lose a lot of quality for each missing player.

I think you ought to put your eggs in the Mbappe basket in some ways actually. Neymar is outrageously talented, but he plays for contact too much. His injury rate is already double of what Bale's or Reus' is and nearly 4x that of Robben and Ribery who only started getting hurt when they got older.
Mbappe looks too solid to go down that road. Get him to score as many as he can to get him used to that level.
IMO, we should keep Mbappé as a number 9, sell off Cavani this summer and find a new good winger.
We need both Neymar and Mbappé as they are key players in our game and have the "star power". Cavani is not that influencial, he is simply a finisher and he doesn't have that star power to bag sponsorship.
Of course, this recurring injury of Neymar is getting annoying and worrying but let's hope he will heal correctly this time.
Also, if you watch PSG games, Neymar and Mbappé have a very good affinity on-field with a lot of 1-2.

Cavani definitely has to go. 32 years old, huge wages, occupies Kylian’s role as a 9, etc. PSG should be able to get around €50m for him

Sure, maybe. Cavani's effort and focus upront is kind of an asset. Not sure if you want to rid yourself of it just like that.
Man, this isn't about one injury for me. He has a plethora of problems, majority of them actually impact-related and not some chronic groin pulls. He actively seeks contact and draws so many fouls, partly also because he tends to playact (for a reason really). This will come back to bite him even before he hits 30 I think. If he doesn't change that part of his game, he will consistently have issues with his feet, ankles etc and he will be on the shelf much more often than he already is.
You do need a good sub-on winger to cope with that.
Cavani doesn't want to go. Understandable with his huge wages. He likes PSG and PSG fans and direction like him. His biggest suitors with money (not Napoli) were Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. They got sorted with Higuain and Morata.
I really see him stay for his last year as he wants to do. The club won't push him out, they respect him.
You could see Cavani as the anti-Benzema. Benzema was often criticized for not scoring enough but being good at link-up and build up. Cavani is literally useless in link-up and build up. You have to give him the ball for him to shoot or it will be a lost ball. I appreciate his efforts, his professionalism but he is very frustrating at times. If he wasn't on such big wages, it wouldn't be a problem to have him as a rotation player though.
Maybe you are right about Neymar but PSG is committed anyway. They spent hard on him and he signed to be QNB ambassador some months ago, that means he is not going anywhere. He is the face PSG shows when they have to discuss sponsorships or with Nike new deal.
Even here, his topic is on first page while being injured for a little while. He is still in the media. This is what PSG was looking for on top of the sporting side.
They are not comparable because of their qualities.
Do you think Neymar is playing second fiddle for Cavani ?
It is just that Cavani could never do what Benzema does.
And about the goal scoring of Benzema, he is doing fine but Real Madrid supporters would complain about the total output. He was not scoring as much as other number 9. He scored like 12 goals last year.

PSG should definitely keep him as a 9 and buy a talented winger (and sell Cavani ofc).
