Point being, if it was Xavi or Iniesta trying those flick-n-runs, they'd fail even at their physical peak. This is why he discerns pure talent and "physical talent" in two categories. Mbappe may have both, especially in the future, dunno. Don't watch him that much, bet the video above is certainly not a good counterargument.

So, because Xavi or Iniesta would fail at employing those same skills that it is evidence Mbappe is mostly benefitting from his physical talent?

Have you ever seen Aubameyang or Bale try to perform those skills?

Aubameyang is overrated and Bale would probably get injured, so he doesn't even try.

I think what Xavi meant is that he's using more of his physical skills than his obvious talent right now. That he's still developing a balance or something like that,
