Jorge Sampaoli
Has elevated Sevilla to a new level. They're a team that believes they can and should win against anyone now, and are playing good football on top of it. Taken the Liga with storm this season.
Thought he deserved his own thread![]()

With all respect to Sevilla fans, throw money at him and Sevilla to get him please.
The real deal.
Sóc Culer.
Imagine if the afa had chose him to train their nt, instead of so many dofus in the last decade...
Anyway, hope he keeps the good work for them. I won't get my hopes up about Barça hiring him. If lucho leaves, Unzue or Koeman are likely to be the next coach.
The real deal. He's perfect for barça. I hope we don't go for Unzue if Lucho leaves with trophies at the end of the season.

Hmm... not sure if Barca would be suited to 3 CB's at the back... which is classic Sampaoli style in every match except tough ones vs. top teams, where he plays 2 at the back and focuses on possession and pressure up front.
He has a 2 years contract with the club, however, if he will leave to anywhere from here in 2018, it will most definitely be Argentina NT.
He never ceases to impress on every occasion.
Wonder how Lucho explains to himself how Sampaoli is ahead of him in his first season in Primera and without superstars saving his ass.

Btw, for those who don't know: Sampaoli's right hand, assistant, Juan Manuel Lillo was one of's biggest mentors, and influences tactically.
We SHOULD hire this man asap.

love his passion
that passion is a big reason why he can motivate his players imo...
He seem to command a lot of respect from other players too. Neymar and Mascherano embraced him after the game at RSP and Horseface Ramos did the same yesterday.
A big presence.
Which is something that is used as an argument against him potentially taking over Barca, whether he'll be able to manage the big players and make them work as hard as he desires, being an 'outsider' and not a former legend like Pep or Lucho.
