Just read that the referee will be that piece of fucking shit, Gonzalez Gonzalez. Hoped I never would see him again after he let Asspanyol butcher our players last season.

Oh great. This idiot again.

I really hope that Enrique has finally devised a strategy to negate the high press. It has been a recurring problem all season long and will no doubt be encountered once again at the Anoeta.

The last performance at the Anoeta was particularly bad because it seemed as if the players did not actually know what they were doing. For long periods of time the defenders were passing the ball sideways amongst themselves without actually achieving anything useful.

The worst part is that the MSN were not really involved in the game – they were silenced by the tenacity of the Sociedad midfielders. The goal that Messi scored on the break was more about luck rather than tactical nous. Enrique really needs to find a way for the MSN to be more involved this time around or else it’s unlikely that the curse will be broken.

Sad to see that everytime Rafinha has a good run and plays well, he directly gets injured. Him and his brother really are injury-prone unfortunately.

Regarding the game at Anoeta, this is gonna be as tough as the last one there because Real Sociedad are in the best form of their recent era and we'll need some magic to win.
Can't wait to see if Rakitic will play.

He might, he's a cup player these days. But I think Gomes might have the upper hand.

Real Sociedad are in 5th place in La Liga, just beat Malaga away 2:0. Do they believe in placing top-4 in La Liga? Beat Atletico and Villarreal? They have not be so close in recent years. Still, we should be able to beat them.

Real Sociedad players didn't speak to TV yersterday because La Liga didn't want to change the timing of match against Barça

Found an explanation from another forum.

Real Sociedad will play against Barcelona in Copa del Rey this Thursday at 20:45 local time.

The Day of San Sebastian (city of the club) is on Friday. However, the day starts at 00:00 with a big tamborrada and it's custom to have dinner in your "sociedad".

As the match is at dinner time the club asked to play a little before, at 19:15. With that change people could go to Anoeta and then have dinner and tamborrada

La Liga refused because 20:45 is prime time for TV and people at San Sebastian are very angry. The tv channel that will show the game is GolTV

Yersterday Real Sociedad played against Malaga and after the game no player wanted to speak to them in a form of protest.

If this decision was not enough, Barça played on Saturday, so they have almot 2 days more to prepare the game and rest
