16:15? Shitty timing.

We should win without too much trouble. Team from Canaries are a typical home team.

They gave us a lot of trouble last season. Granted it was the game Messi got injured. They just beat Atletico at the Calderon for the cdr. Almost qualified.

I hope we will play well from the beginning, not wait until second half. Need to score first goal and keep applying pressure.

They dominated us and gave us so much trouble last season when they played them away, this is a team that seeks possession and plays aggressively and physically. Won't be an easy game for us.

Las Palmas is the only La Liga team Messi hasn't scored against IIRC.

Hope he puts the ball into the net today.

Danger Ahead
Sergi Roberto, Pique and Denis Suarez left out:tata:. This probably means that Vidal will start... This should be fun, goalfest incoming:hooray:

Vidal playing without Pique? Hope it goes well, but I don't like it. Shouldn't rest half of a defense at once.

Maybe licho gave up on la liga and is more worried about the cdr.

Will be very interesting to see. Without Pique, starting Umtiti is a MUST, if we don't want to concede like at least 2 goals, especially with their high-pressure game style. Mathieu panicking when trying to get the ball out the back with Las Palmas attackers running and pressing all over him...

I'm afraid our defense is gonna look like this: Vidal-Mascherano-Mathieu-Digne. In that case i'm worried that we might have 'another Alaves' on our hands, especially if we look on how Las Palmas handled their away game at the Calderon mid-week. They are dangerous. Too dangerous for us to be playing without even one of our standard first choice defenders. But who knows, maybe Lucho (in the back of his mind) has really decided to give up and try to win at least Copa and maybe get lucky in the CL, so that he wouldn't leave trophy-less in the summer, when he'll most likely be looking for his new employers. But we must keep pressure in La Liga too, especially so that Madrid can't relax too quickly and start resting their main players in La Liga for the whole knockout stages of the CL, if nothing else. Because that would be a disaster and it might very well lead to those bastards actually winning the treble. And who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and have another shot at the league title before the season ends as well, if we're persisent. We're not even halfway there, so there's more than enough time, especially considering that we managed to lose practically the same advantage of points in under 5 rounds last season. Mixing CL and La Liga matches in the spring, and all that extra pressure...that can take its toll even on the best of squads, which Madrid do have.
