So frustrating. On top of having to watch us play bad we also get shafted by ref.

Messi saved us again and that's it. Lucho is history.

Reminder RFEF won't do anything regarding Aduriz murder attempt. That would be 4 games in EPL at least, but Spanish FA doesn't acknowledge incidents that aren't seen and reported by the referee. Yes, even if they are recorded by 10 cameras.

And they wonder why there is so much dirtiness in Spanish football.

We've had around 7 games like this already where we get dominated.. in the treble season I only remember 2/3 of those types of games.

People need to wake up we are not the great Barca anymore, more than that the fraudulent board and incompetent coach are not helping us.

A 1-2 defeat in an away game against Athletic is a very good result.

People need to get realistic and lower their expectations.

watching the replay, borbalan booked three barca players(including iniesta) in a row for dissent after he himself missed the neymar penalty. there should be a law, if iniesta is booked for dissent something is terribly wrong with the referee...

When the game begun, I was so shocked at how high the 'block' they played was, and thus felt we could destroy them in behind. They left us ACRES in wide areas, and it seemed tactical suicide from Valverde.

Then we gave away 2 goals in a blink of an eye, and proceeded to play horribly.

Suarez is seriously playing pub level right now.

let's just accept the fact that the first game after return of our South American players from an extended break will always be difficult. Nothing new. Next match on Sunday should already be an improvement. It was encouraging to see Neymar play well. There is hope!
However, we may not have the best GK coach.
MAtS needs to improve dealing with crosses. Check out how K. Navas does it. Real Madrid seems to have better coaching of GK's.

I should really ignore this forum after matches like that, so much garbage tossed around. Has everyone here a memory span of one week. We finally got our act together, we actually played really well in December,
Then comes long winter break and our key people having extended holidays and you expect a trashing of opponent in the first game after training? No, everything is forgotten and same trash continues.
Here is a small history lesson about how we usually begin our year:

2010 - tied 1-1 vs Villareal, then lost to Sevilla at home 1-2
2011 - barely beat Levante at home 2-1, then tied Atletic away 1-1 in copa
2012 - beat Osasuna comfortably in Copa, but then tied Espanyol 1-1 in league
2013 - good games, wins vs Espanyol and Cordoba
2014 - nice result vs Elche and Getafe, but tie against Atletico 0 - 0
2015 - the famous loss against Sociedad
2016 - tie against Espanyol in league, but beating them in copa

In last 6 years we have had 1 good beginning of second half of season, 1 decent and 4 bad. This year is no exception. Add the fact that ref was horrible, Atletic Bilbao away is one of the toughest fixtures in Spanish football and they are i believe one of the best teams historically in Copa, WHAT DID U EXPECT?

Seriously, sick and tired of this bs and crying to get Lucho out. All the actions he has done so far, as is to make sure we do not have the same issues at the end of last season, when our team fell horribly out of shape in March-April. This means alot of rotation in autumn, extended breaks, trying to waste minimum energy in games etc. If his plan does not work and this continues to go on until summer, sure his time is over and get rid of them, but its like, have you completely wiped out the first half of treble season from your heads, how can you not see the similarities between those seasons.
Real Madrid breaking records, looking unbeatable (like they did under Ancelotti), us sucking, using different starting lineup in every game, massive rotations, having issues, losing some embarrasing games etc. And then benefitting from all of that in spring and being unbeatable.

I hope you are right with this, the facts are there to be seen. The trip to Villarreal this weekend will be tough if the past is anything to go by..

I really don`t understand people who try to downplay this and accuse other people of crying because they see that we are shit at the moment. Nothing changed, we played some good games against mediocre opponents. And then came Bilbao away, first more serious game and we see same shit again. Disastrous build-up with Ter Stegen playing long balls all the time because he can`t pass it to anyone. Ffs you have two ball playing defenders, you have Iniesta and Busquets, you have Neymar and Messi and you as a coach are not capable of creating a way to play the ball from defense. Of course it`s Enrique`s fault.

And even when we are losing and have a TWO MAN ADVANTAGE, we don`t see any urgency and pressing from our players that last 10-15 minutes, nor creating chances. I hate Madrid, but they would destroy Bilbao yesterday with pressing and aggresiveness in that last ten minutes.
