Marc Cucurella

Is he considered higher rated than Grimaldo in his age? Cucu also seems to have a pretty goot right foot, maybe he could even play on both flanks? I really hope he makes the first team with that sex hair and all and if we managed to get Grimaldo back too it would be a dream.

Grimaldo spent 80% of the season injured. The kid is cursed.

No he didn't. He made his B team debut at 15 and left at 20 years old and during his time in the B team he only had 1 major injury which didnt slow down his progress at all.

Grimaldo suffered a serious cruciate ligament rupture injury which made him to be sidelined for almost a year and he also had to go through few other minor injuries. These injuries definitely did affect his development of physical coordination and overall progress. He surely looked good enough after that major injury but he was supposed to be a bigger player than that.
Lots of mature players lost their physical strengths and agility after cruciate ligament-related injuries and this is even more crucial for a young player who are still at the development stage.

I'd trade him for Alba

If you meant that you'd trade Alba for Grimaldo, I believe that's nonsense.
Alba is an established player as one of the top 5 in his position and Grimaldo is still far from being a world-class player.

Yeah maybe. Although I disagree with Grimaldo being far from a world class player. The guy is extremely talented, versatile, and has been developing really fast. He was voted Benficas best player by the fans and they seem to really love him.

Alba on the other hand has lately pissed off alot of people, hes reallyinconsistent and very injury prone not to say Grimaldo never gets injured but certainly not as much. If we could have both it'd be superduper

Where do you see that? He only played 3 months.

He's played for them for 1 and a half season now. Lots of Benfica fans believe he was their best player or atleast one of the best considering the minutes he played. Certainly rated higher by Benfica fans than someone like Semedo for example who we are supposedly willing to pay 40-50M and Lindelöf who moved to Manchester for 35M.

Just take a look on the comments on any Benfica/Grimaldo related site, forum, or video and you'll find lots of fans who think that way.
