"I do things that no other player can do."

    Can't argue with that!

Imagine if Ronaldo was as humble as for example Iniesta. Imaigne that, because of this humbleness, he didn't have the desire to be the one scoring all the goals and therefore would pass his team mates in better positions. Imagine what a likeable player he would be. This would also make him a better football player even though his numbers would be lower. A shame for him that it didn't turn out this way. Instead we enjoy seeing him fail instead of feeling sorry for him.

holy shit, for a player who is often said to be 'complete' this season confirms he's actually unidimensional: his one outstanding trait is finishing, and when that starts to go...

Neymar is a better player. It's not even debatable any more. Certainly not this season.

Wtf are you talking about? So what if he can't assist, pass, dribble, etc? He can score tap ins with his left foot, right foot, and head. Oh yeah, let's not forget penalties and offside tap ins. Most complete player ever.

To be fair his finishing hasn't been outstanding for a couple of seasons now. But conversion rate stats are rarely brought up.

right, in relative terms (conversion rates) it is statistically unimpressive, but in absolute terms (which is, of course, what people really look at) his finishing numbers have been outstanding throughout his career. such that, as i said, once this element of his game (his only remarkable attribute) begins to wane, he looks terrible because his weaknesses are no longer masked by goals.

Everyone knows the truth. They just need to wake up and realize how vast the gap always was and how much it has been a pr media created rivalry and legacy for Ronaldo.

In February he is 33. In my country (Norway) you are an "old boys"-player when you hit 33. Then you can play against people with beer bellies and pretend to be a star. Age has caught up with Ronaldo, but he is too egoistical and stubborn to realize it. This summer he will move to the MLS or retire.

The one thing he still is class at is his ability to be in a spot in the right time. Yes his tap-ins/ conversion rate is pretty bad now. But once he hits form again it will be ok for Real.

Whole Real Madrid is bad. Its normal that a player cant do all in his own, specially when he is almost 33 years old. Kroos, Modric and Casemiro cant create chances, they need a playmaker like Messi, Özil, De Bruyne, James etc.. Ronaldo is their most dangerous player in the offensive, but he lost his ability to score a goal from nothing.
We will see what will happen against Paris, maybe Copa del Rey will be their only title which they can win.

His finishing isn't that good anyway. He relies on loads of chances put on a plate and several pot shots and penalties to get a big return of goals. When the service dries up so do the goals. Real have just been poor this season. If he played in an average team he wouldn't score half as many as he has.

Since he turned into a poacher he's become Andy Cole. Some e like Van Nistelrooy was a far better finisher yet history will record him as the best.
