It seems we have to rely on Ronaldo for goals more than ever this season.
We probably cant afford to rest him much and will be 33 pretty soon, not good.

Real Madrid has built their whole team to play for Ronaldo. When hes not playing they have no strategy when they suddenly have to pass someone else.
Messis role is the reverse, he plays for the team and the team is built to utilize his strenghts.

Its a shame really, Messi is a far better "player" all around the field, but if you dont win alot of trophies, you dont win any ballons.

I expect him to score 6 goals tonight - 1 penalty, 1 header, 3 tap-ins and 1 deflected long range shot. The race is up.:lol:

just noticed that RM campaign for CR7 ballon d'or has been stepped up. He is shown saying 'let the numbers speak' although the numbers don't speak for him. He is #2 with numbers.
However, he deserves credit for scoring when it counted - CL final, semifinal, quarterfinal (in particular when RM was playing against 10)

I still feel its a joke. He was shit till the last few months. We dont get screwed over in la liga a d ref does his job vs Bayern and he wins nothing. He relies on his team but tries to take all the glory. Even a blindperson can see Messi has been the superior football player every year. No commercialised popularity award changes that.
