Him getting banned would have tainted the entire competition with a massive asterisk when Juventus inevitably choked against Ajax without him.
Not sure if this would rule him out more than 2 weeks; but not looking good for the CL 1st leg for sure

I’d say there is a 0.000001% chance he misses the Ajax match. Don’t let this fool you. Same with all of our big stars. It’s an excuse for them to rest.
