Very nice gesture, especially since he gave it to Benzema who has been under a lot of pressure from their own fans.

Rely on them both heavily and Real were still dominating team in most games in first half of season just couldnt get the goals.

Barca are more centred round Messi getting the ball as he is far better on the ball than Ronaldo.

Those stats dont really add much to the argument as I said Ronaldo not scoring performing in first half hit them badly as he is there most important player.

Those stats clearly show that Barca rely more on Messi than Real rely on Ronaldo.

There's a massive difference between getting involved in 50% of the goals and only getting involved in 29%.

Yes and when Ronaldo has not been as influential Real have been shit which is the point.

Do you want to compare those same stats for every season and competition to show who is more influential? If that is how it is decided.

Absolutely Messi has been far more influential this season.

You can't fault the guys PR moves, he knows exactly what hes doing. He'll make it 6-5 in Ballon d'ors and if people think PSG are doing shit against Madrid.. dream on. Messi only has himself to blame, better player obviously but he doesn't have the determination of Ronaldo. his arch rival just scored 2, could of had a hattrick had he taken the pen, now watch Messi walk about the pitch vs Girona

and btw thats coming from a huge Messi fan

Hahahaha if he doesnt do it, you are saying he is egoistic if he does it, its because of PR. LoL

You can clearly see at his first goal that he shows his finger to Benzema to say the Bernabeu who was the main reason for the goal. Today Ronaldo was a real captain.

Real have been shit because they conceded more than 1 goal per game this season, that's the main reason, not Ronaldo not being as influential as he is now.

In the league Messi has almost always been more influential than Ronaldo. They have the same goalscoring record but Messi has 40 or 50 more assists since Ronaldo joined Real.

No it is because they have been dominating often and not scoring their chances more than that.

Then getting desperate towards end and getting caught on break a few times.

Dont agree Messi has always been more influential each season.
