Neymar Jr. - v5

PSG and refs becomes a recurrent theme for no reason. It was a penalty, the kind of penalty down to the stupidity of the player. The ref was poor for both sides in estimating fouls and dives, but that's because both teams have players that dive making the refs job harder.

Today Neymar should have destroyed Real to do a big step for becoming the world best player but he had dribbled too much and wasnt effective. Mbappe is 20 years old but his shots are weak as a 50 years old player. Had Cavani touch the ball ? All three were useless today against a very weak Madrid

Madrid wasn't great, but still were good enough to beat PSG. They've stepped it up a level from their horror shows in Spain.

Neymar is building an image of a more style than substance player. It's a decline for him from the 2014-15 season, when he was a very clutch player and a great menace as a forward.

The best version of Neymar was the 2014-15 one, who didn't dwell on the ball so much and was effectively a forward with regular roles to fulfill.

True. He was so much more straight forward. It was all about result, now it's just about show. It doesn't work as well.

After our triple he changed.

Lucho had a role in that as well, in that he fueled his individualism to the point that he played Neymar just like Emery is doing now. Give him ball to feet and allow him to try to win 1vs1's hoping that he wins enough of those to create chances.

QSG's spoiled him too much. No way Barca or Madrid would tolerate this shit.

Pathetic club.

He did have some selfishness when he played for us but today was just on another level.

Hope he enjoys scoring 5 goals a game in LOL 1.

Neymar was not lucid enough in the final third today but that's the least of problems. To play with a 3 man midfield, the latter has to be solid. PSG were fucked by a super clumsy Verrati, which is very uncharacteristic of his. Also i have never seen Rabiot this slow with decision making, second guessing every pass he made. I think -again- the mental preparation of the team was lacking. I feared a second yellow by Neymar in the final minutes but he did contain himself, frankly speaking Neymar is the ultimate weapon they have in Parc des prices. He is a Remontada specialist with his bold mentality.

Still don't want to see him at Madrid tbh. They wouldn't bend over for him like QSG do and he'd be a better player for it. No big club would, actually.

Just let him score his 10 goals a game against Rennes and Dijon.

Remontada specialist after one performance?

The ultimate weapon shat his pants tonight and tried to be a hero by dribbling everyone instead of playing smart.

imagine calling neymar the "ultimate weapon" and "remontada specialist" after messi has won us 3 CL finals (scored big goals in 2), and single handedly beat real madrid and bayern in the CL semi-finals.:lol::lol:

Well you're right that's why i said he was not lucid enough, but that i meant trying to walk out as the superman of the match. But you have to be fair and answer this with some objectivity. Who among psg players played better ? or to put it in perspective, less worse ? I think Neymar and Alves were the only players who weren't afraid to play some fucking football there.

They all sucked, but Neymar was brought in to change that. He's after all the best in the World after beating the shit out of the likes of mighty Dijon.

To leave Barca was his worst decision in his career and probably he knows that

Last season we came back vs PSG 6-1 and the following summer Neyney joins that very team.. says it all really

hes an idiot for leaving Barca where the money was great, MSN worked well and with Messi/Suarez into their 30s he'd get a more prominant role, i think we started to see that in preseason under Valverde.

His ego got too big too fast. In 14/15 he was coming off a mediocre season and hadn't really done anything in his career yet and accepted his role on the team. Then we won the treble, he got top 3 in the Ballon D'or and he started thinking he was bigger than club and became so full of himself he started going for individual glory rather than playing for the team.

The 14/15 Neymar was a machine, he was grounded and his decision making was based on what was best for the team, not him or his statsheet. Ironically his best season statistically was also in 14/15 when he scored 40 goals and he hasn't come close since.

Perfectly said mate! This is how I feel as well. Neymar would be better player playing for his team, instead of this ego **** he does.
