Neymar Jr. - v5

Results are everything. In the 80th minute there wasn't no one thinking PSG weren't getting the win. Neymar would be lauded for the backheel and that first half which was good, tbf.

After those jammy goals, he's selfish, not good enough etc. Some poster above even said he is plain bad, lol, he's having an extremely impressive season, yes Ligue 1 but tell me two players apart from messi and ronaldo who could do what hes doing over there. Good thing is that he'll have his rematch. Lets hope the referee won't give Madrid all the lucky breaks, but I'm not very confident about that given the last years

I feel sorry for him, the only way he is going to win the Ballon is if PSG wins UCL (not likely anytime soon), or the World Cup.

He is forgotten in a weak league like France league. Even the players themselves admit lack of real competition, Rabiot: “It’s all well and good putting eight goals past Dijon FCO, but it’s in matches like this that you have to stand up and be counted.”

I know it's probably wrong of me but I found way more pleasure in watching Neymar specifically lose while playing like this than I would have gotten from watching Madrid get eliminated.

Exactly. Before the second goal from Madrid, after the Cavani sub, PSG were completely dominate, Emery taking off Cavani (who was non-existant) looked like a good sub. The only fault PSG had was non being clinical enough to get another goal. Neymar was good imo, decision-making was questionable but he's sort of known for that. Ref was complete garbage, Casemiro commits a foul which could have been a yellow; then not even a minute later, Rabiot gets a card for Modric losing his balance and falling over.

One thing I will say about PSG, the way the played after Ronaldo got the second goal shows that they aren't mentally there. They became erratic, their midfield that was playing pretty well became non-existant. 3-1 isn't too bad considering they're going back to the Parc de Prince but Madrid will be full of confidence going into that leg. Next leg will truly define Neymar, I know must here hate him (for good reasons) but I'm hoping that he pulls through and eliminate those fuckers.

Also...why tf did PSG go let Matuidi considering Thaigo Motta's injury/age, their lack of depth in the position (lol at having to sign Diarra )and them having to play fucking Lo Celso in huge game like this.

Emry was a coward and went for caution with his changes, Real had more shots on target vs. PSG (8 vs. 4), yet he take off his CF who was more a team player than both Neymar and Mbappe. Replacing Cavani, freed Real defenders to go forward and crowd the MF. eMRY has inferiority and fear complex against Real and Barca since his days in Liga. But I agree that ref was poor, Marcelo is the biggest cheater in history of football, and PK wasn't called on Ramos.

Saying that, I still want PSG to knock those fuckers.

Classic PSG performance. I was hoping that they outscored Madrid but I can live with this result. PSG, the laughing stock off CL while they destroy the poor farmers at Ligue 1. They will splash another gazillion Qatarese rial on players the coming summer and replace Emery with a real coach, the pressure will be immense next season.

Part of me hopes that this finishes this pathetic club off. As in the Qataris pull out and the club goes bankrupt and dissolves. But then Madrid will probably get Mbappe and the snake :(

Some reall bullshit in this thread. PSG played like shit and you can't expect one man to win it by himself. Cavani and mbappe were invisible for huge periods of time.

Also this selfish talk is bullshit too. He did act selfish on some occassions but he also passed the ball a lot. Just a lot of bias if you blame him for last night.

This loss is all on one person and one person only. Unai emery. Refree gets 10% of the blame only. What the fuck was that lineup? Benching thiago silva? Playing la cesso or whatever ahead of di maria and draxler? And who the fuck was that retarded LB? Had they started a better lineup the result would definitely have been different. If I was nasser I would sack emery right now.

Remontada specialist after one performance?

The ultimate weapon shat his pants tonight and tried to be a hero by dribbling everyone instead of playing smart.

Yes because comebacks from 4-0 down are so common that one needs to give 5 such performances to prove himself.

Madrid wasn't great, but still were good enough to beat PSG. They've stepped it up a level from their horror shows in Spain.

Neymar is building an image of a more style than substance player. It's a decline for him from the 2014-15 season, when he was a very clutch player and a great menace as a forward.

The best version of Neymar was the 2014-15 one, who didn't dwell on the ball so much and was effectively a forward with regular roles to fulfill.

Yes you are right. Neymar finishing was brilliant that season but now he only dribbles dribblies dribbles which end up with a ball lost or poor finishing. Ronaldo and Messi with 26 years have destroyed the oppenents.

This guy is growing up in the opposite direction as a player. Each year more crying, more ego, more diving and more stupid decisions on and off the pitch. Good riddance.

If Madrid will buy Neymar, they probably won't win a CL anymore.

I know, it is not that simple and I am exaggerating, but there is nothing that indicates that Neymar can lift his clubs to a truly elite levels.
Not to mention how he is killing a teamplay.

I will troll (to some extent):
1. in Neymar's 4 years at Barca, our main opponents won 3 CLs
2. Neymar is gone to Psg, and he is "pushing" Real towards another CL title with his "magic"

Barca, on the other hand, without Neymar has higher chances to win a CL than without him, imo.

Imo, Madrid would be the biggest idiots in the world if they would buy this clown and ruin their teamplay and their winning CL-formula.

What will you get with Neymar in KO matches?
1. tons of dribbles
2. tons of fouls and diving
3. zero end product
4. your main opponent ALWAYS winning a CL, lol

As someone mentioned on previous pages, in a few years maybe we'll realize that maybe we even got paid too much for Neymar (in footballing terms).
Especially if his career will go down from here.

For example, Neymar is already 26 years old.
Messi was 24 years old here:

** When Messi scored for 2:1, Neymar would have tried to dribble past 5 defenders and VanDerSaar in der that action, instead of simply shooting, lol.
That's the difference in decisions and having an actual end product.

Neymar is miles behind elite-key-players-matchwinners level.
Even current, slow Cr7 is Maradona compared to him.

Don't be sad. You can enjoy watching him in Ligue 1.
