Neymar Jr. - v5

As amazing as they are technically, Neymar and Suarez need to learn how and when to pass to better fit with Barca's philosophy in my opinion. Without a proper 2008-2016 Barca midfield ( which I doubt will come back unless Rakitic and Iniesta step up) and with them missing passes it starts to become quite annoying to watch them play.

If they want to dribble and play around, let them to this in a 4-4-2/3-4-1-2 system as our 2 CFs

There is no pass-and-move system anymore. Neymar used to interrupt the flow of the game, but now there is no flow to interrupt. Given how Barça plays these days, his job is to penetrate into dangerous positions.

For anyone who (like me) misses pass-and-move football, give Napoli a view. Real pleasure to watch, reminiscent of Pep's Barça, without the emphasis on possession-at-all-costs. Players making pivot passes constantly, a lot of one-touch, passing just to keep the ball moving.

Kept losing the ball all match but in a match which was a shit show from the whole team, he managed to have a hand in both of our goals.

Jose Mourinho has made contact with Neymar to lure him to Manchester United
Mourinho, as SPORT have learned, is calling Neymar regularly to invite him to leave Barcelona and sign for Manchester. It is his usual way of functioning - the coach likes taking part in these conversations himself

How Mourinho is trying to convince Neymar to join Manchester United
Messi’s presence could hinder Neymar’s growth as a player and as an international icon, according to Mourinho

Man United and Neymar: Economic power and the need for an icon
United, who paid 125m euros for Pogba would have no qualms in paying the player’s 200m euro release fee clause and offer him a better deal

Get the fuck out, Mou and Manchester United.

I doubt that they will be paying nearly 400m with all the taxes involved triggering the release clause in Spain.

500m and he is yours.

If they meet his release clause, by all means. Problem is if our board would properly replace him.
