No excuses for Messi and Argentina if they choke again versus Nigeria. Him and his pals will probably end up picking the lineup themselves, so they can't blame the manager or his tactics this time if it goes wrong.

Messi tried to drop deep to get the ball against Iceland, it didn't worked.
Messi tried to stay on top and wait for the ball against Croatia, it didn't worked again.
What do you guys think he should do against Nigeria? Stay close to Aguero or close to Mascherano?

Argentina and Messi should play like they have nothing to lose. they already recieved alot of backlash and most people have already decided they'll exit in the groups. if they sit back and play it cautious one of those twats at the back will fuck up vs Musa

start Dybala, Messi and Aguero

who is the #2 GK for Argentina btw? no way can they start with Willy in goal again

1. they should play 433 so they have 3 midfielders
2. Play their best midfielders Banega and Lo Celso
3. Let the midfielders do their job and have Messi stay higher up

Essentially, fix their midfield so that Messi can stay upfield and receive the ball

I hope that Sampaoli the retard learned the lesson and starts Dybala, Lo Celso and Higuain against Nigeria.

I almost forgot Lo Celso, he's someone that can raise his head and make a good pass. A shame that Sampaoli didn't choose him in both games.

So, Lo Celso, Banega + Messi? Or you want Messi with the attackers? I'm not sure he can play RW again.

He should just play on RW, in a 4-3-3 setup, that's the only way he can drop deep as well as play up front simultaneously.

When in possession (4-3-3):

Dybala Aguero. Messi
Salvio Masch. Lo celso
Rojo Otamendi Fazio. RB
Armani

When defending (5-3-2)

Aguero. Messi
Dybala. Masche. Lo celso
Salvio. Rojo. Otamendi. Fazio. RB
Armani

Lo Celso, Dybala, Higuain, Aguero, Banega and Messi all together against a team that totally owns Argentina in terms of athleticism and pace? good luck
