It's still surprising to me how he's able to create magic constantly, I mean this guy is 30 years old, and still dribbles past players like no other, his body/mind were created specifically for Football I guess

and it sucks that people take it for granted how great he is because he's consistent with his magical performances.

If Cristiano had a match like this we wouldn't hear the end of it

The gap is so massive between him and any other player is in the world this season, it is really a joke.

Light years ahead of any other footballer.

FIFA and France Football looking like a joke with their foul awards.

If Ronaldo wins the world cup with portugal by fluke like the euro again...then he'll win the ballon dor

Performances like yesterday's make you look back on the years with bitterness. Winning 3 champions leagues with this guy in charge was not enough. We did not maximize our profits with him. All these years -and i guess even now- we have been using some legal cheat mode and we will not be able to in the future. Hopefully one last one for old time's sake. Just one last for messi's era.

If you want to win the CL you need your best player leading the way. Messi has been poor along with the rest of the team in Europe in recent seasons. It would be a different story if he was putting up god-tier performances and we were still losing, but he has not played like a player that's wants to win the CL.

As much as it's easy to to shift the blame around and make it seem like Messi's teammates and coaches are the reason for his woes in the CL as of late, the truth it Leo himself is as much of the culprit as anyone. You talk about him being a legal cheat code, hope we see that version of Messi come February at Stamford Bridge.
