Bullshit.
If he is the one carrying us , Where was he last season against juventus?, Scored ZERO goals over two legs against them.

Football is a team game, It's the collective that makes the difference, Last season the team was in a bad shape and messi wasn't able to showcase his best, As with any great player, This time around the team is in a much better shape and was able to score and make an impact, Thanks to his team mates and his coach.

And we aren't relying on our center backs or full backs to score the goals, Messi is a a striker and arguable the best in history, His name will always dominate the match sheet, This is the norm.

Well we got knocked out to Juve. It wasn't his fault we lost by 3 in Turin and the likes of Suarez and Neymar missed easy chances for an away goal. Messi missed a lot of chances in the second leg, it wasn't his night, but the damage was done in Turin and that was mainly an awful team selection (Mathieu Gomes) and a non-existent midfield that were walked through time and again. Same thing happened in Paris.

Barca needed Messi on top form to win nearly any game last season. An exception was the PSG second leg where Neymar stepped up.

At 08 seconds in this video I am pretty sure that Messi is saying to Dembele to make a curved run off the ball to open up space..

Which was exactly what happened on third goal.

Each years there are journalists saying he's on his way out, some go as far as saying he's finished after a few average games.

So far so good. I hope he really does a great season.

As usual watched the game after everyone last night, and he finally defeated his nemesis (Buffon), by scoring two.

Love Buffon, wish he could have gotten his CL title last year, class act

Plenty of goals, but also plenty conceded.
What, no one in the front 3(4) will do any pressing?

you'll need 3 players for each messi, that leaves at least 1 messi free at any given time. Come on morten imagine it!

Valverde needs to manage him well this season and at times rest him for the greater cause. We need a fit and firing Messi at the business end of the season unlike the last 2 seasons.
