If Messi and Ronaldo swapped countries, I'm sure you would be acting like Aguero, Dybala, Di Maria, etc. are among the best in the world and complaining nonstop about how bad Portugal's team is. Fact is that Argentina has had at least as good, if not better, players than Portugal at every tournament over the past decade. Iceland are also far easier than Spain so just give it a rest

Iceland went further at the Euros 2016 than Spain and won their qualifying group for the WC. Put some motherfucking respect on their name and sit down. This won’t be an easy game for Argentina. At all.
One match doesn't prove everything smh. Barca won 4-0 in the Bernabeu without Messi just a few years ago, yet I'm sure you'll still claim that Ronaldo had far better teammates than Messi that season

To be fair to Iceland, they had a really good Euro 16 campaign where thye drew against Portugal & have beaten NTs like Neatherlands (both matches in the year following them reaching 3rd at WC 2014) & Croatia. Never mind that Iceland topped their WC-group and reached WC play-off 4 years ago.
They shouldn't be underestimated tbh.

fact is, Portugal won the Euro final vs heavily favoured France without Ronaldo.

Fact is Ronaldo was main reason they were in that final and as I said Argentina beat Chile without Messi and couldnt with him doesnt mean they have a fantastic team that can win without him.

Last Euros are irrelevant for most part if comparing teams now. Even then Iceland were not a great side at all.
Plenty teams that are obviously inferior to Spain now went further.
