Luis Suárez

only replacement for Suarez is Kane,. Harry kane can pass, score, longshot etc, and he has a good vision. No other young striker can fit for Barcelona. go for him quick.

This guy had literally one good season with us and thats it. As sad as it is he has declined completly. These days i only see him arguing with the ref and the linesmen and being constantly offside because he is too slow to make a decent run. He has knee problems and is already 32? What are we waiting for? Should we wait forever till some holy worldclass player is available and loose cl every year till than?

Suarez, league goals per season at Barca:
40, 29, 25
Samuel Etoo:
30, 26, 25
Rivaldo:
24, 23, 19
Neymar:
24, 22, 13
Ronaldinho:
21, 17, 15
Kluivert:
18, 18, 16
Villa:
18, 10, 5
Saviola:
17, 14, 13

Some of these guys were "9s", some were wingers, but still.
Also, they played in different eras with different teammates.

But still, imo, saying that Suarez with 125 league goals in 152 league matches for Barca had only one good season is silly.
Outside of Messi and Cr7, Suarez is the best attacker in the last 10 years.
And in the last 20-25 years, the only guys who had similar numbers were Ruud, Shevchenko, Henry, Batistuta, Raul.

Statistically, it is highly unlikely that we will find a striker who will score as much as Suarez.
A new guy, whoever he will be, will most likely be a downgrade in terms of number of goals.

If people are unhappy now, I am afraid to imagine what they will write in 2-3 years then.

On the other hand, Suarez declined, true. But still...

How about including stats from champions league as well? 8 3 1 and the current one 0 Yeah totally one of the best striker. There is one thing worse than his scoring record there and thats his overall performance . This is embarrassing as it can be....

Its not easy to score in the Champions League. Even other strikers like Aguero Lewandowski or Icardi dont score much especially not against big teams. Ronaldo and Messi are the only players who are scoring against the big teams for fun.

Suarez scored a grand total of 4 goals in 2.5 years of Champions League football. 3 of those were in 16/17 season.

This is a big, big problem-

When it suits his narrative, BBZ will only mention CL stats.

Now, all of a sudden he's only mentioning league stats. Lmao.

Suarez has been great for us and our fans are obviously a bit spoiled. Problem with him is clearly that he has been over used and lacked percentages in the CHL games therefore a low goal rate. And our whole team has been underperforming in ChL He is 32 and basically playing all the time with knee discomfort. Suarez has been and still is a great player. I get frustrated with him as well, but the club is at fault for not buying a solid second striker. Fair, Paco didnt work out, happens, but munir was a joke. There is no need to sell suarez, we just need a good player who can cover some 30-35% (best kind scenario) of the playing time, so Suarez can play at his best the whole time and in the ChL.
