His goals were instinctive (tap-ins) and when he got time to think in that 1 on 1 against the keeper, he fumbled it.

But he is looking like he's improving and who knows, we might see old Suarez this season yet.

Better. Should have had a hatrick though at least. He only scored the unmissable chances.

There were no unmissable chances for him until recently so him scoring those now is a big improvement.


I don't understand why he didn't shoot in that 1 on 1.

He just wanted to return a favour to Messi, don't blame him.

I have the feeling he'll look like a new signing once Dembélé comes back.

On the rabona goal that wasn't:

"Rabona goal? The day before the game, I was playing at home with my son and doing rabonas and he told me to see if I could do one in the game."

"The situation came up but the referee didn't give the goal. When I got home my son was surprised because the goal hadn't counted. But he told me I had done what he'd asked."


We need Benjamin Suarez to ask his father for a hat trick in El Classico.
