He doesn't have the balls to bench Suarez because the alternative is Paco Alcacer.

You don't understand, with Messi playing as a false 9 I mean a formation without a striker. The only time we played like that was from 2011(after Eto'o and Ibra left) to 2014(before Suarez arrived) and we had Xavi-Iniesta. With this midfield playing without a striker who runs behind the defenders would be a tactical suicide, the opponents would park the bus and we would even more sterile than we are now.

We 4-3-3 False 9 against Alaves, Espanyol, Juventus (1st Leg), Getafe, Eibar and Olympiacos (1st Leg).

All the games where Messi was at his most devastating. Suarez played the role of a left inside forward when he played. Like Henry and Villa.

Messi is definitely free role. We've seen him play in all positions at front this season, except of course left wing position, which he played like for 10 minutes or so against Leganes.

Suarez cannot be benched because Paco is the alternative? And Paco would be worse than Suarez because? Paco would be so much better than this Suarez, anybody would be. It's not that hard to see.

Come on man FFS, get back in form. You have maybe 2 months to do it or else we should be looking to buy a top striker in the summer.
