Luis Suárez

Barca scored 116 goals in La Liga last season not 112 and right now has 34 in 13 which is a 99 goal pace over a full La Liga season.
Barca will for shure score less this season but it won't be that dramatic.

You are right, 116 it is. Even better...
Not dramatic, perhaps, but it clearly shows the symptoms and signs.
The goals scored so far include own-goals, lucky bounces, and only rarely some creative play.
If Ter Stegen weren't in great form this season (so far) the team could easily have lost 3-4 games and the table would look very different.

The clarion-voiced folks easily stamp Suarez's play as being a permanent decline here, but regardless the points and results, the entire team is declining, as far as creative football is concerned. Alas, that is dramatic...

Whether that’s been playing wide, or upfront with Messi or as lone striker. It’s just not working. You can’t hit blood out of a stone.

Suarez is an extremely skilled, agile player who is unable to show his existing talents, because he is not playing in the position he is used to play in.
When he scored the most goals in 2015-16, he was well "served" by two geniuses from the left and the right.
If you ask Umtiti to play as a winger, you get the same result.
Suarez looks mentally undecided and nervous, doesn't know what to do with balls, so he does something awful, the typical symptoms of a player playing in a different system, with different other players performing equally as bad as he does...
The blood-stone parable is just bad...

Suarez is not playing as a winger any longer. Since the Girona game he has been playing in his preferred position. Everybody has had to adapt their play, so much so that we play without without wings now, mainly to get Suárez back in a central position and yet apart from him, Rakitic and Semedo they’re all pulling their weight.

Blaming the team for Suárez’ poor touches, poor passes and slow movement is really scraping the barrel. The entire team is being geared this guy and it’s not working.

Edit: This form drop is also not a new thing. His play has seen a steady decline since January when Neymar was still around.

They have been lucky on a couple of occasion but yesterday barca was unlucky and deserved to win, same as with the Atletico game. All in all i think the team is where it deserves to be but its true their has been a creative decline and the team just isn't creating enough opportunities. The return of Dembele, reinforcements upfront for especially the left side and Suarez on the bench can improve barca's attack again.

Some reporters, pundits wore already saying this last season but i still think he was a positive factor for the team, scoring goals, having assists and connecting well with Messi and Neymar.

This season he has been a negative for the most part, even his connection with Messi doesn't seem to be what it once was.
Still find it funny so many reporters, pundits who only watch barca occasionally being surprised about his poor and sloppy play whenever they've seen him this season.

Any system change isn't an excuse for missing sitters and understanding the offside-rule as an amateur, tbh.
If Valverde hadn't had so much against Paco, Suarez could have got some rest and thinking time on the bench. At times he is unwatchable.
Lets hope the knee was much of the explanation and see what he can bring after Christmas.

Just what we dont need , one good game followed by ten shit and injured games.........

He'd terrorise the league, probably not best fit for this team though. The painfully slow build up would just hamper him, just like it did Fabregas.

Only one way of playing, the day Messi retires this side and tika takka crap is going to be exposed - big time.

If Real Madrid get Hazard, can kiss the league goodbye.

Never consistent or good enough for Barca , Madrid won't want him either for the same reasons.

You're a bit mental if you genuinely believe that. The only player at the Club currently better than him is Messi.

Chelsea aren't a selling Club anyway, if clubs come knocking for one of their players, they generally don't come away with the player for a reasonable fee. There'd be no bully boy tactics like Real did when they wanted Ronaldo, or Bale at Tottenham.

I watch him every week when he's not injured and most of the time he's gone missing. Sure he has the odd great game but its always followed by many more bad ones.
Never been consistent and will gladly have a wager with you that he will never play for us or RM.

from reading the comments on a Suarez article in the DM, Liverpool fans would still love him back. If they're willing to offer at least 25m, we should bite their hands off

I'd be ok with 5m. We should bench as to not lower his market value any further.
