It's been exactly the same for the past two seasons with Real and Barca, with Ancelotti's Real looking unstoppable after the UCL win and people calling for Lucho's head before Barca rallied and won the treble. Off the treble, Barca looked unstoppable with the 39 match streak only to stumble while Real looked horrible under Benitez, but won the UCL under Zidane. The second half of the season will be interesting for sure.

Thats sort of like us last season. After our streak ended we were horrible to end the season.

Last season our streak ended after the international break, our players were exhausted. RM will have a mental breakdown (a little bit) like they had under Benitez. RM's streak was because of luck, referees and individual talent that's it, no tactics. Plus, they gained confidence and with confidence you have better luck, it's a positive cycle. Sevilla destroyed that confidence and everything collapsed.

Alaves are at 1.9 to be Alcoorcon...these are very good odds or are they this good as a weaker team is expected to be played?

It will be impressive if Real pull it of. Celta at home is tough and when they score once Real needs 3 goals. Meanwhile they miss plenty of players and their best goalscorer currently cant score even if it is an American football goal. Fully expecting Celta to go trough.

I'm not sure how Celta will approach this one.

Do they park the bus and allow RM to put in loads of crosses.. not likely

Or go toe to toe with them which allows the game to be very open...
