Kante?

I cant see United selling Pogba for even 200mil with less than a month to find a replacement

I thought Kante's price would be like 80m. Might be Kante.

To make it clear, I wouldn't spend too much if not really grrat addition.

Holy shit that's a slow team.

Praying to God Semedo has his breakout season and we manage to make this team a bit more faster and able to cope with the intensity in the CL KO rounds.

It did not say a midfielder and the player should be 100+ because of the 50m disagreement between the clubs. The negotiation is ongoing and led by E Abidal.

I do not speak Spanish so I hope someone looks into these tweets. Is he reliable anyway?

He is a journalist at Sport. Dunno if he is reliable, but must know something.

The player he is talking about is Pogba. 0 doubts about that that.

Btw, for those who don't know, Pogba really wants to leave Manchester and the club is open to that. His relationship with Mourinho is not good and the player himself offered to Barça and Juve.

Usually when these things happen, there are rumours coming from both sides about a player potentially leaving/being signed.

That said, there are zero, absolutely zero rumours out of the English media about Pogba leaving United to go to Spain. Or even wanting to leave United.

English transfer window closes in 3 weeks time. No chance they are going to sell Pogba in that time.

Barca are working on a major signing behind the scenes that is different from the names being leaked to the press, with it all being led by Abidal. The club apparently want to respond to Real Madrid's probable big transfer window with a World Class Midfield signing that will cost a lot money. Paulinho's transfer opened up the room for a such deal apparently lol.

The player want to come, but there's a difference of 50m between Barca and the club of the player which might be a big hindrance to it happening, basically ruling out a select few players like Thiago and Pjanic IMO because both players are valued at 80m and Barca won't lowball them as low as 30m.

That's what it all says.

Whether he is reliable or not I really don't know. He's the Editor of the Barca section at Sport and rarely posts stories so perhaps this is one of those cases where he got a really good source on it? Can't tell.

I don't trust any journalist when it comes to Barca. They've all been way off the market since last summer and all collectively shat themselves when Griezmann decided to stay.<iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets/widget_iframe.7a5ca036ea5299f1d2ebb2234731e35e.html?origin=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.barcaforum.com&settingsEndpoint=https%3A%2F%2Fsyndication.twitter.com%2Fsettings" title="Twitter settings iframe" style="display: none;"></iframe><iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true" style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: none;" title="Twitter analytics iframe"></iframe><iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets/widget_iframe.7a5ca036ea5299f1d2ebb2234731e35e.html?origin=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.barcaforum.com&settingsEndpoint=https%3A%2F%2Fsyndication.twitter.com%2Fsettings" title="Twitter settings iframe" style="display: none;"></iframe><iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true" style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: none;" title="Twitter analytics iframe"></iframe>

By who though?

If Bayern value Thiago at 80m they aren't going to ask 80m for him on the negotiation table with Barca. They will ask for 100m+ so that through negotiations they will hope to land ~80m range with Barca.

The seller will always earn less than the asking price, so it's important to set the asking price higher than the actual valuation of the player.

If Barca value Thiago at 50m, it makes sense for Bayern to set an asking price of 100m or more so that they can meet in the middle of around 70-80m that satisfies Bayern's actual valuation of the player.

Could argue that, but it also says it's a name that's not been mentioned, or mentioned a lot in the press. Thiago and Pjanic have both been mentioned several times.

Pogba has been mentioned once or twice and Raiola offered Man City a chance to sign him in December so I think either Pogba or Milinkovic-Savic who is valued highly by Lazio are the more likely names, if this report/scoop is indeed true or real.

This is not only supposed to be a WC MF, but also a big name.

Perhaps Braida found his way out of Turin and landed in Manchester.
