Aguero ? Do we not have enough dwarves and light weights in front ?
Maybe a plan B, something new ? .... like a tower, something like Harry Kane ?

Suarez was definitely one of the top 10 strikers in the world last season, and he rates higher than that in his ability to get off good shots. On this team, being able to convert a pass into a shot is what you want from whoever plays beside Messi. This is Suarez's special skill.

These top, top goal scorers that are being bandied about as acquisition targets, why would you think they would be willing to join this squad at this time? These guys don't want to play second or third fiddle, and they certainly do not want to ride the bench. Remember that tall Swede? Messi will be the star for years to come. Not even Griezmann can be confident that he would beat out the likes of Suarez and Dembele.

What in the Earth makes you think Tottenham will let Kane go?

Money ?

I meant the type of player: a tower, tall, very good header, physically strong, a player who knows how to catch long passes and defend the ball ,physically, at his feet, so to allow the team to go up. When the opponent pressed us high and we can't get out of our 1/3 of the field (very often), we tried a long pass= ball is lost 99%.
All 4 finalists in the World Cup played with a tower. A lot of matches were decided thanks to a header.
Something different in front, not always the same type of player = same tactics = so predictable as to become almost boring

World Cup Football ≠ Club Football

That said having a target man is nice to have, but more than that we need a versatile, fast, clinical striker.

Will address your post LordLicheinstein later.

The CL is more similar to WC than to the liga.
We need versatile tactics, THAT is what we need! but we can't have it, because we have too similar players.
A tower in front would be a plan B very important.
THIS year I want the CL,THIS year i do not give a fuck about liga or copa.

As expected.
You have simplified football into pace and mobility now.

A perfect midfield would have a mix of technique, pace, strength, aggression.
And some height.
You moved to technique, pace and mobility now.
Compared to Rm, Casemiro, anyone?

In attack, some journos explained why Giroud played. To draw 2 defenders, hold on the ball and open more room for Griezmann and Mbappe.
And to offer some physical presence in the box, headers after crosses as a plan B and some defending.

All top 4 world cup teams played that way.
And Rm played that way and won.
Not because of a mighty mobile Isco.

Now you picked technique and mobility again even for a Cf.

Look, your idea is better than the current Barca.
But it is probably not good enough for the biggest things.

So, please, try to add more factors in your midfield and attack except technique, pace and mobility.

The best all round centre forward is Firmino who knows and links well with Coutinho.. he'd be perfect for us . No doubts.

He's not fast. Good player though, would be an upgrade on Suarez for sure. Don't see us getting him. Pretty sure he's recently signed a long term deal.
He wouldn't have to be super fast as Dembele and Malcom could provide the speed
Money talks and going off the Liverpool forums they'd even love to take Suarez back ( no idea why ... surely they can't be that out of touch ..
