Alright, it will be an exciting two windows - let us hope that we can manage better than the previous ones.
A window, where we have a comfortable lead in the league could make things way more easy in negotiations, as clubs won't think we are so desperate as this summer.

I would only imagine this works in favor with our board, as the sellers know there is competition and we are not only desperate for that specific defender.. hopefully we dont get ripped off by some ridiculous fee

It is by far the weakest position we have at the moment, Pique is in Suarez type of decline,Mascherano is leaving and age has also affected him and Vermaelen is leaving too never mind he isn't useful at all.
And in case you think : but we have Mina & Marlon? both are non-eu player and we have Paulinho as non-eu player too. we won't get more than one of the two -most likely Mina- so there is a need for another CB soon, hopefully someone who can bench Pique if he can't regain form

A Realy unreliable source in Croatia says that Arda is willing to take a huge pay cut and go to Galatasaray. FIngers crossed.
