Tomorrow Monaco, Olympiacos or Celtic will also join the party!

Ajax face PAOK for a spot in the Play-Off, maybe the toughest draw of the day.

Millennium Stadium awaits! Can Crvena Zvezda make it to the 2nd ECC in History or will it be Ajax nr. 5? :neymar:

Hard times for the Dutch team.

I think the last time they were somehow strong was in 2003 when they were a minute away from sending Milan home and would've had a good chance against Inter in the semis to play at Old Trafford.

I simply hope in some change in Champions L. hierarchies

It hadn't ever been seen 3 teams reaching semifinals for 6 years consecutivly (more or less).
I hope some of them will be sent away early in the 1/8ers (Real M. first candidate) and a second in the 1/4ers (Bayern M.)

Barça will be strong as usual, but I think not unbeatble like in 2015.

The dream is Juve beating Barça in the Final .....you can lose a Final after 4 consecutive wins

One thing that is going to be interesting this year, the duel between Italy and England for 4 UCL spots is on. English teams might send only 3 teams in 2018/19 if Italy gains 2.5 more points than England from this years European season, note that Italy has 6 teams, so any achievement is divided by 6 compared to 7 for England.
Juventus going far and English teams KOed soon in the UCL, Roma will not be seeded in the Play-Off but it can play against Shakhtar or Ajax ( if the Dutch make it past PAOK ) and if not, it can be Anderlecht that take their spot as seeded.
City will be seeded, they can play anyone from Sparta/Steaua, Fener to Gladbach or Roma.

Group stage draw take place when?

August 25.

A group of death for Barca: Barcelona, Borussia, Tottenham, PSV Eindhoven - Note: If the Dutch would've kept their 8th position, PSV would've been seeded pot 1.
Another version would be: Barcelona, City/Arsenal, Lyon, Sporting/PSV

A easy group: Barcelona, Bayer 04, Basel, Victoria Pilsner

Astra Giurgiu and Rosenborg already scored against Copenhagen and APOEL.
Celtic drew 1-1 in Kazahstan against Astana.

APOEL - Rosenborg - 0-0 @ 90th minute, 3-0 after Injury Time ( 1st Leg was 2-1 for Rosenborg so 1-0 was enough, but still funny ).

And Norway is without a team in the Champions League since 2007.

2008: Brann lost to Marseille in Q3
2009: Stabek lost to Coppenhagen Q3
2010: Rosenborg lost to Copenhagen in Q4
2011: Rosenborg lost to Victoria Pilsner in Q3
2012: Molde lost to Basel in Q3
2013: Molde lost to Legia Warsaw in Q3
2014: Stromgodset lost to FCSB in Q2
2015: Molde lost to Zagreb in Q3
2016: Rosenborg lost to APOEL in Q3

RIP

Out in Q3: Qarabag, Rosenborg, Tbilisi, Red Star, BATE, Astra, Sparta Prague, Olympiakos Pireu(lol!), PAOK, Partizani Tirana, Anderlecht.

Ajax make it to Q4 where they will be seeded and since Anderlecht and Shakhtar are on the verge of elimination, they might not have to face Gladbach or Roma.

Actually no, it's still Roma.

Final UCL Non-Champions Route:

Seeded: Manchester City, Porto, Villarreal, Ajax, Gladbach
Unseeded: Roma, Fcsb, Monaco, Young Boys Berne, Rostov

Pretty clear who is the easiest opponent, everybody who is seeded wants Fcsb and who is not would pick Ajax and run like hell from Pep.

Other route situation:

Seeded: Pilsner, Red Bull Salzburg, Celtic Glasgow, APOEL and Legia
Unseeded: Croatia Zagreb, Ludogorets Razgrad, Copenhagen, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Dundalk

5 will be in the Group Stages, all teams will be seeded in Pot 4 from this route.
